"The EMPANADA in the world" The empanada is a food that consists of a filling that can vary according to the region, enclosed in a dough generally made with wheat. It is a food that is made in almost all the countries of the world, although they are particularly notorious in Latin America. It is part of the Argentine traditions and other Latin American countries, although its popularity has spread to North America and Europe.
